Attractive and not at all disappointing.
Needed for my husband who was stuffing work/school items into all kinds of spots, like his clothes drawers.
He loves it and got it neatly set up immediately, so yes, it passes the test with flying colors in the little corner of our living room.
This #cabinet isn't the highest quality but it is an attractive piece of furniture. It went together very easily and I was pleased that all of the pre-drilled holes for assembly actually lined up...a rare thing amongst pre-fab furniture. I bought it as a stand for a 5-gallon aquarium and it takes the weight just fine. I'm not concerned at all about it tipping or collapsing. If I push on it and abuse it, there is a little side to side wobble but it is sturdy, especially when anchored to the wall.
