Floor Installation Tutorial
1. Lay moisture-proof pads. The moisture-proof pads are soft in texture, absorb water, have good moisture resistance, and feel comfortable on the feet.
2. Starting in the upper left corner of the room, place the first floor plank with two of its grooved sides exposed. In order to prevent the natural expansion of the floor, a gap of at least 10mm should be reserved between the ground and the wall. The larger the area to be laid, the wider the gap should be.
3. When laying the second floor in the first row, insert the protruding groove on the short side into the groove on the short side of the first floor. Continue using the method above to install additional floorboards along the first row.
4. Installed to the last floor of the first row, you can use a tape measure to measure the length of the trim floor, and use a utility knife to cut the trim.
5. When installing the first floor in the second row, take the entire floor and insert the protruding groove on the long side into the groove in the first row of floor.
6. When installing the second floor in the second row, insert the protruding groove on the short side into the groove of the installed first floor.
7. Insert the locking floor block of the same thickness to the long side end of the floor being installed, lift 5, 6 and the locking floor block at the same time, at an angle of 30 degrees to 45 degrees, and then use a plastic hammer to hit the locking floor block to make the long side The protruding groove enters the groove of the adjacent floor.
8. Finally, the same method can be used to install the rest of the floor in the room to ensure that there is a necessary expansion gap between all vertical planes in the room, including fixed items such as walls, doors and cabinets, and between the floor and the wall.
