This piece is everything we expected. It's beautiful and sturdy. We do not have our TV ON the unit, as it is hanging on the wall above. But we do have several gaming systems, a giant old school surround sound radio box, and two speakers and we have not experienced any buckling. We have had this piece for a few months now and still love it.
