HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED
Expertly crafted of solid oak wood, poplar, oak veneers, engineered wood and MDF. Expertly constructed with mortise-and-tenon and tongue-and-groove joinery for high quality structural integrity. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
Weathered Navy, Smoked Charcoal and Smoked Gray finishes use a multi-step finish with a heavy textured grain to achieve a natural weathered feel and look. Hand-finished and with natural variations in the wood grain's texture and appearance, no two pieces are exactly alike. Mattress platform is made of 100% solid wood slats for extra strength; designed for use with or without a box spring (mattress and box spring are sold separately).
Mattress platform can be positioned at 2 heights:
(1) lower position for easy access in and out of bed for young children, (2) higher position to accommodate a trundle for overnight guests or for extra storage.
