#LVL is a high-strength engineered wood made by bonding multiple veneer veneers layer by layer using an adhesive. #LVL was developed to better utilize new species and smaller trees that cannot be used to make solid sawn timber. #LVL can disperse and stagger the defects such as knots and cracks of logs. According to the test, the strength and toughness are 3 times higher than those of solid wood, making it stable in quality, uniform in strength and small in material variability.
